Project CARS 2 has one of the biggest lists of racing locations and covers so many car brands and models, that it makes you dizzy. Any player can choose a vehicle to suit their taste and color.
At the same time, it is important to choose the right tires for the car. Using the right tires in combination with a powerful engine and transmission allows you to achieve first place in the race more quickly.
Tires should be chosen according to the weather conditions presented on the track. In addition, the following important aspects should be taken into account:
- tire pressure. The basic rule: the higher the pressure, the harder the car drives. It is necessary to select the most appropriate tire pressure. For example, if you increase the pressure in the front wheels, the vehicle will turn worse and consequently there will be less grip on the road when cornering. In this case, the tires will wear out slower. And vice versa.
- tire pressure in the rain. The friction force on a wet track is reduced, and the wheels may slip. It is therefore recommended to increase tire pressure when it is raining. This prevents aquaplaning by increasing the pressure on the area where the tire is in contact with the road.

- aquaplaning. This effect occurs because, in rainy weather on a wet track, water gets onto the tires and does not have time to leave them. It turns out that the wheels begin to slide on a thin layer of water. If such a situation occurs, there is a high probability that the player will lose control and cause an accident. Therefore, the following guidelines should be followed when driving on a wet track: accelerate smoothly, brake slowly and do not make any sudden movements of the vehicle.
